Here at Autumn Grove Events, we’re a family of creatives.
We believe in pushing the boundaries and challenging the status quo. We just happen to handcraft, and hire, giant lifelike artificial trees. Our small family run business was born out of the idea of bringing the outside in. We wanted to make a big impact in a large venue without breaking the bank and couldn’t find anything with enough bang for our buck. We spent the next 6 months handcrafting our first artificial tree for our own engagement party that was held in an old CWA hall.
We never expected it to become a business, or even for this labour of love to be used more than once, but after an overwhelming response from our guests, we realised we were solving a bigger problem than we ever knew existed. The desire to be unique.
We continue to expand our range of unique, lifelike artificial trees, allowing our clients to hold one of a kind events that make a big impact, without costing an arm and a leg.
Meet Our Team
Beau
He’s fun and energetic, and he makes a really good coffee, so we keep him around. Beau is our Business Development Manager and the best problem solver we know. He handles all of our sales and customer service and loves a chat, you will definitely come into contact with him at some point… don’t say you weren’t warned.
Frances
Frances is our Operations Manager and also looks after our accounts. She coordinates with venues and suppliers to ensure that our bump ins and bump outs run smoothly, and the best possible service is delivered to our customers. She’s been the employee of the month 24 months running, which may be rigged, but we can’t complain, she pays our wages ;)
Natalie
Meet our creative genius, Nat has years of experience in marketing, people management and business strategy. She’s got her finger on the pulse of the wedding and event industry, and loves coming up with unique products to make our clients’ events’ truly something to be remembered. We love her expertise and innovation when it comes to the strategic direction of our little company.
Alex
Alex is the artist of the bunch, and responsible for the aesthetic design of all our products. He’s brought his expertise from years as a furniture maker and wood worker to our little business. Like all artists he’s a bit of a perfectionist, but we know this means all of our products will receive 100% of his blood, sweat, and tears.
Leon
Our trusty Civil Engineer, Leon is responsible for ensuring that all of our designs are structurally sound and will stand the test of time. He’s also our Delivery Manager, so you’re pretty much guaranteed to see Leon at the set up and pack down. We love his attention to detail, he makes sure that every installation looks perfect for each client's wedding or event.
